Baba Moti Ram Mehra was a devoted Sikh attendant at the fort of Sirhind. Defying strict Mughal embargoes, he scaled the Cold Tower walls for three consecutive nights to provide warm milk to Mata Gujri Ji and the younger Sahibzadas. For this act of supreme devotion, Nawab Wazir Khan sentenced Baba Moti Ram Mehra, his mother, wife, and infant son to be crushed to death in an oil press.
